Increased patrols and dedicated specialist resources have seen arrests for Quad thefts and the number of these offences have decreased. However, some offences against houses and outbuildings occur due to doors being left open- please remember to close and lock your doors.
Patrol plan based on current crime patterns and analysis of incidents and intelligence
Support from other North Yorkshire Police departments including Roads Policing, Rural Task Force and Operational Support teams in patrolling the Craven District especially during darkness hours
Creation of a dedicated Burglary team to look at detecting more crimes and arresting offenders
Neighbourhood Policing Team revisits of victims and locations to ensure that surrounding properties are made aware and crime prevention advice given
Cross border communication with Lancashire and West Yorkshire Police to share intelligence and information about possible offenders
